On Saturday afternoon, women-identified members of RoR marched in the annual Dyke March! As a group, we feel as though pride is a very corporate event, and we wanted to remind people that for us, pride is still a political event. Several times during the march we spoke about why pride is a political event, and shed light on some of the challenges and inequities queers in Canada and around the world face. A huge shout out to a group of women who had signs with similar political message, who marched and danced alongside us, giving us encouragement and energy! Also a thank you to the male identified members of RoR who attended the event and supported us from the sidelines.
